I have a few questions for you guys who have used it? First off does it really help you get rid of acne even those pimples that are under your skin and come off as painful bumps? does i really make your skin softer?


If it does work can I get it at target or walmart? If not where can i get it?

Yeah its a pretty good product!





It does get rid of acne slowly in the first few days. You have to put it under water for 30 seconds or so.





It does make skin softer. I tend to reccomend putting some moisturizer on it after use.

I tried Proactiv and I was extremely dissatisfied, it actually made my skin worse. I gave it a few months, as it takes a while for a skin regimen to show results, but I never saw them.


I swear by the Clean and Clear Advantage Kit. It's like 18 dollars for the cleanser, lotion and spot treatment gel. I've used this for years. I have pretty good skin, and rarely break out, but this product has kept my skin perfect.

Everyones skin is different- I really think you should try all of the products yourself. Proactiv is amazing for me, Neutrogena and Clean and Clear dried my skin out horribly. Noxcema was okay for a few weeks, then it didn't work so well. Clinique was also really really good. I've stuck with proactiv though.

so ive been dealing with acne since i was like in the 6th grade and most of the stuff on my face is scars from the past but i still get zits somewhat often.

I'm a Nuetrogena addict so trust me, skip the foaming wash and use the Stress Control Cream Wash, it has a better dosage of acne fighting ingrediants plus glicolic acid which helps smooth and brighten the skin getting rid of old marks and helping to exfoliate the top layer of skin of dead skins cells. I use it in conjection with the Stress Control Scrub and I rarely ever break out since I have!
I use the ';Rapid Clear Oil Control Foaming Cleanser'; and it works really well for me. I really recommend it. =)
The Rapid Clear Oil Control Foaming Cleanser, definitely. When I tried the Stress Control Foam Wash, the dog wouldn't come anywhere near me for a week.

I have pretty bad acne. I have tried everything, including 3 visits to the dermatolagist.. I just have too much of delicute skin. I heard great things about Neutrogena With MicroClear Technolagy.. Has anyone tried it? Does it work? Plz help me here. And i really dont need any reccomendations on what else to use, i tried everything.

This is called the honey mask:





You will need PURE honey as it will dehydrate your skin and clear your blemishes and about half of a banana; the banana will moisturize your skin. Mix both together in a small bowl and put it on your face for 10 minutes, make sure you get it everywhere on your face especially the areas where you have the blemishes/acne.





After 10 minutes, rinse it off with a gentle cleanser (I recommend cetaphil or st. ives apricot cleanser because it washes away the dirt and oil on your face and cleans your face); also while you are rinsing your face, use luke warm water and then cold water to open and close your open to prevent acne.





After that, take some clean and clear persa gel 10 (works awesome!) and put that on before going to bed, next morning, rinse off and I swear your skin will feel sooo smooth and soft, also it will feel much more fresher and it will look radiant and clear your acne!





Also dont touch yoru skin because your hands contain natural oils on it which causes acne and oily skin, so avoid touching it!

THE question is ...how old are you? If you're a teenager then its the hormone thingy going around, and hopefully it'll wane away pretty soon. If you're older, and visited a dermotologist and still didn't get cleared I guess the Neutrogena with Microclear wont help either. My mom is like in her 40s and still gets a pimple or too...she applies a benzoyl peroxide ointment but that doesnt help older people. She even uses that Microclear but all it does is make her skin brighter and softer, but it does dry out fresh pimples.

the dial hand soap is an anti bacteria soap. it removes dirt and works GREAT on acne. but it does leave your skin dry so you need a great moisturizer. i suggest clinique, they work well for sensitive skin, like mine :D
Neutrogena with MicroClear Technolgy is a joke they test on animals and it is very harsh on the skin. I recommend using Burts Bees Peach and Willowbark Deep Pore Scrub. Though I have only been using it for about a month now. My skin is the cleanest and clearest it has ever been. Its all natural and they don't test on animals and after you use it I swear you face will feel amazingly clean. Keep with it every night and your skin should be clear. I gave it to one of my friends tonight who also has very sensitive skin and I wouldn't recommend something if I didn't believe 100% in it. If you don't want to buy online. Both moisturizers include SPF 15. The sensitive skin one is just specially formulated to give you less rashes and irritability to the product.

Try Neutrogena Oil Free cleanser, this will help prevent breakouts, keep your skin from getting too oily, and leave you with a clear complexion. I also use Neutrogena Stress Free Foam %26amp; Cleanser, it's a foam water based cleanser that helps breakouts before they start. I switch between these every other day so my face doesn't get dried out, and use to just one product. Stay away from cleansers or moisturizers that contain mineral oil, that tends to cause more breakouts and make the face more oily.

depends on your skin type, if the product is strong enough, percent of sylilic(thats spelled wrong) acic or benzoyl peroxide is in the product. If you are using their acne products, it depends on the type of acne you have. Their stuff never worked for me but ive always had bad skin and some of my friends it worked for.

I would suggest Neutrogena Products such as the Cleanser %26amp; Mask paired off with a facial buffer. Regular if you have normal to combination skin, or gentle if u have sensitive skin.





Also try the exfoliation product Blackhead Cleanser. Anything with the ingredient Salicylic Acid will get rid of them fast. Exfoliation is key in getting rid of and preventing acne. Keeps as fresh clean new layer of skin. Like a new canvas ready for painting.





This will also allow better makeup application %26amp; removal.











Alternate these products for AM %26amp; PM use only.





After cleansing, in between cleansing %26amp; before applying makeup, apply Benzoyl Peroxide 10%, such as the Persa-Gel from Clean %26amp; Clear collection to get rid of them in bout 3 days.





Also use the On-The-Spot Acne Treatment by Clean %26amp; Clear for acne thats about to begin. Alternate products depending on seriousness of acne.

Neutrogena products tend to dry out my skin and make it red and irritable. I suggest going to a dermatologist. Even if you only have light acne a dermatologist may be able to prescribe you a product such as differin. This is a topical acne treatment that greatly reduces the number of pimples that you have and the size of them. I don't have severe acne either, but I went to a dermatologist that prescribed two topical treatments for me that have greatly improved the clarity of my skin.

I haven't been using it for that long, but so far it has been working for me. I didn't really notice any dryness from it, but I use the body wash. I don't know if that makes a difference. I absolutely love the smell of it.

I have had the wave for about 3 months and I have been using it off and on but I just started using it every night for the past week. School starts in about another week and I want most of my acne gone. I has gotten rid of most of it but should I use in the morning and at night. I have the wave but I only use it at night before bed, and then just splash my face with cold water in the morning. Sometimes if you wash your face at night AND in the morning, especially with such a deep cleanser like the Wave, it is too hard on your skin, because you are washing an already clean face. I don't know what your skin type is, but I find that it is best for me to use it only once a day.
Well, I have the wave too and I used twice a day. I didn't really notice it clearing my skin at all. I do use the neutrogena acne cleanser package. It costs about $19 but it's toooootally worth it. My pimples started clearing by the next day. NO JOKE! It works much better than the wave and you get more uses out of the package than the wave sooo, it is less expensive in the long run.
If it works for you then YES 100% YES use it twice a day. That is what you are supposed to do anyways. In the morning when you wake up, and right before you go to bed.


Because it isn't really a powerful cleanser with a bunch of chemicals.. and it isn't an astringent, two times a day should not harm your face one bit.

I use mine twice daily.It doesn't make mine dry.But then again people have different skin types.Try it twice daily and if you notice your skin getting dry go back to once daily. :]
i used it twice a day and had no problems because it's a cleanser not an astringent it shouldn't dry out your face.
It doesn't help with acne. It simply just makes your skin softer. But for most people it's money well wasted.

TRUST me i have used Clean and Clear daily pore cleanser everyday in the morning when i wake up and night before i go to sleep. My zits are almost gone and by using this u don't get any more zits. The foaming lather that it produces helps with sensitive dry skin so no irritation occurs. After that use aveeno positive radiant daily moisturizer afterwards. It evens out ur skin tone. Proactiv clean and clear or neutrogena?
It really depends on your skin type. Some people love proactiv, but for some people (like me) it didn't work at all for them. I've had problems with clean and clear making my skin breakout, so I wouldn't recommend that. But then again, other people love clean and clear. So it all just depends. You might have to experiment a little before you find something that works right for you. I would suggest trying some other things before proactiv, because it's kind of expensive. You should see if something cheaper works first!





Clearisil Ultra products seem to work well for me. :) Get the face wash and the cream and be sure to have a good moisturizer, too!
I have both proactiv... i think it works if ur on a constant role of doing the steps daily. I wash my face with clean n clear everyday to wash my make up off and it works wonders, cleans my face %26amp; takes make up off at the same time and proactiv doesnt! I would say both, depending on what u use it for.
proactiv acutally made my skin worse. i would suggest talking to your doctor, i went to my doctor and she gave me a prescription strength face wash and it is the only thing that has worked for me.



Okay what I do is use a clean and clear scrub.


And then I use the proactiv second and third step things.


It sound weird cuz I use two diff products.


But it works for my skin.
If you have a sensitive and dry skin, then proactive and clean and clear is not for you.

Alot of neutrogena products I've tried only tighten/ pulled my skin, I stop using them. I would be glad to takes those products back.





After washing my face with nuetrogena products, I used their lotion and it went awful.

I don't like any of neutrogena's makeup. True, it doesn't clog your pores but it really does look really makeup-y and flaky.


I do love and use their concealer though, if you want to try it out.


For tinted moisturizer, Laura Mercier makes the BEST and any makeup expert will agree with me on that. If you want a drugstore brand, I used Physician's Formula, they even come in organic. The organic tinted moisturizer doesn't work as well as the mineral one, but it's still organic, can't beat that.
