I have a few questions for you guys who have used it? First off does it really help you get rid of acne even those pimples that are under your skin and come off as painful bumps? does i really make your skin softer?
If it does work can I get it at target or walmart? If not where can i get it?
and thanks :)The Neutrogena Wave?
Every ones skin needs something different and unique to them when it comes to skin care regime. Experiment. Trial and Error are good methods to pinpointing what works for you personally. Good Luck and Take Care. The Neutrogena Wave?
Yeah its a pretty good product!
It does get rid of acne slowly in the first few days. You have to put it under water for 30 seconds or so.
It does make skin softer. I tend to reccomend putting some moisturizer on it after use.
Probably not. they just say it does in the commercials
I have not used it but I have used the Dove vibrating face cleaner, which is just about the same. I like the vibrations and I do feel that I get a nice exfoliation with it. At this website, I found a nice review and explanation of the Neutrogena product:

Biore' vs. Proactiv vs. Clean and Clear vs. Ambi. vs. Noxcema vs. Clinique vs. Neutrogena???
what do you think?Biore' vs. Proactiv vs. Clean and Clear vs. Ambi. vs. Noxcema vs. Clinique vs. Neutrogena???
proactive and clean and clear for sure. i heard biore really dries out the skin (but everyone is different). I use proactive and really like it.Biore' vs. Proactiv vs. Clean and Clear vs. Ambi. vs. Noxcema vs. Clinique vs. Neutrogena???
I tried Proactiv and I was extremely dissatisfied, it actually made my skin worse. I gave it a few months, as it takes a while for a skin regimen to show results, but I never saw them.
I swear by the Clean and Clear Advantage Kit. It's like 18 dollars for the cleanser, lotion and spot treatment gel. I've used this for years. I have pretty good skin, and rarely break out, but this product has kept my skin perfect.
clean%26amp;clear advantage works AMAZING!! Proactiv was a waste of money for me... i would save it for a last resort- very expensive, and it didn't work for me. hope this helps!
i have biore and used it for 1 month and see no change but clinique workds best
proactive works great...i had my whole face covered with acne and some boys teased me... it made me self concious and so i bought proactive and most of my acne is gone so now i go up to the boys and yell in their faces';SOO WHUT YA GOIN 2 SAY 2 ME NOW!'; and they dont say anything(which is awesome)
Everyones skin is different- I really think you should try all of the products yourself. Proactiv is amazing for me, Neutrogena and Clean and Clear dried my skin out horribly. Noxcema was okay for a few weeks, then it didn't work so well. Clinique was also really really good. I've stuck with proactiv though.

Does neutrogena works on dry skin ?
Yes. My best recommendation though is to use Neutrogena Deep Clean face wash, and Cetaphil moisturizer. Makes your face look clean and feel smooth :)Does neutrogena works on dry skin ?
The moisturizer does, for sure.
The moisturizer does, for sure.
Which neutrogena product do you like better?
The Neutrogena Rapid Clear Oil Control Foaming Cleanser or the Neutrogena Stress Control Foam Wash?? which one did you like better pelase helpWhich neutrogena product do you like better?
I've used the stress control foam and i find the stress control scrub works a lot better maybe you should give it a try. Anyway, my favorite products from neutrogena are :
-clear pore cleanser/mask
-healthy skin face lotion with spf 15 (contains vitamins E and C)
-acne stress control scrub (twice a week for exfoliating)Which neutrogena product do you like better?
Mine Is Neutrogena Clear Oil-Control Foaming because it's a refreshing facial cleanser that rapidly clears and controls surface oil, leaving skin shine-free for hours. Effective oil-controlling formula. Lathers in rich, creamy foam that quickly dissolves pore-clogging dirt and oil. Reduces surface oil without overdrying. Easily removes makeup. Rinses thoroughly clean, leaving skin free of greasy residue.
Neither! I'm a Nuetrogena addict so trust me, skip the foaming wash and use the Stress Control Cream Wash, it has a better dosage of acne fighting ingrediants plus glicolic acid which helps smooth and brighten the skin getting rid of old marks and helping to exfoliate the top layer of skin of dead skins cells. I use it in conjection with the Stress Control Scrub and I rarely ever break out since I have!
I use the ';Rapid Clear Oil Control Foaming Cleanser'; and it works really well for me. I really recommend it. =)
The Rapid Clear Oil Control Foaming Cleanser, definitely. When I tried the Stress Control Foam Wash, the dog wouldn't come anywhere near me for a week.
Stress stuff cuz stress can cause breakouts and makes you touch your face from frustration so it is more worth it
neutrogena ultra sheer
rapid clear;; it works great

ACNE!.. Neutrogena with MicroClear Technolagy? HELP?
Hi,
I have pretty bad acne. I have tried everything, including 3 visits to the dermatolagist.. I just have too much of delicute skin. I heard great things about Neutrogena With MicroClear Technolagy.. Has anyone tried it? Does it work? Plz help me here. And i really dont need any reccomendations on what else to use, i tried everything.
Thank you so much!ACNE!.. Neutrogena with MicroClear Technolagy? HELP?
This is called the honey mask:
You will need PURE honey as it will dehydrate your skin and clear your blemishes and about half of a banana; the banana will moisturize your skin. Mix both together in a small bowl and put it on your face for 10 minutes, make sure you get it everywhere on your face especially the areas where you have the blemishes/acne.
After 10 minutes, rinse it off with a gentle cleanser (I recommend cetaphil or st. ives apricot cleanser because it washes away the dirt and oil on your face and cleans your face); also while you are rinsing your face, use luke warm water and then cold water to open and close your open to prevent acne.
After that, take some clean and clear persa gel 10 (works awesome!) and put that on before going to bed, next morning, rinse off and I swear your skin will feel sooo smooth and soft, also it will feel much more fresher and it will look radiant and clear your acne!
Also dont touch yoru skin because your hands contain natural oils on it which causes acne and oily skin, so avoid touching it!
And wash your face twice a day, morning and nightACNE!.. Neutrogena with MicroClear Technolagy? HELP?
THE question is ...how old are you? If you're a teenager then its the hormone thingy going around, and hopefully it'll wane away pretty soon. If you're older, and visited a dermotologist and still didn't get cleared I guess the Neutrogena with Microclear wont help either. My mom is like in her 40s and still gets a pimple or too...she applies a benzoyl peroxide ointment but that doesnt help older people. She even uses that Microclear but all it does is make her skin brighter and softer, but it does dry out fresh pimples.
HOPE tis HELPS!
use dial hand soap and a great moisturizer.
the dial hand soap is an anti bacteria soap. it removes dirt and works GREAT on acne. but it does leave your skin dry so you need a great moisturizer. i suggest clinique, they work well for sensitive skin, like mine :D
Neutrogena with MicroClear Technolgy is a joke they test on animals and it is very harsh on the skin. I recommend using Burts Bees Peach and Willowbark Deep Pore Scrub. Though I have only been using it for about a month now. My skin is the cleanest and clearest it has ever been. Its all natural and they don't test on animals and after you use it I swear you face will feel amazingly clean. Keep with it every night and your skin should be clear. I gave it to one of my friends tonight who also has very sensitive skin and I wouldn't recommend something if I didn't believe 100% in it. If you don't want to buy online. You can buy it at Target or Ulta. Good luck

Does Neutrogena oil-free sensitive skin moisturizer......?
have spf in it? i know that the spf 15 one does but does anyone know if the sensitive skin one does? thank you so much! =DDoes Neutrogena oil-free sensitive skin moisturizer......?
Both moisturizers include SPF 15. The sensitive skin one is just specially formulated to give you less rashes and irritability to the product.

Which Neutrogena product?
If i have sometimes dry, sometimes oily skin with frequent breakout, what neutrogena product would be the best to use. Is it worth buying if i just bought clean and clear but i think neutrogena will do better? What is your opinion.Which Neutrogena product?
The cream cleanser!! I am not sure what name it has... GR!
But it's amazing! so good for combination skin! and it tingles when you wash it off and makes your skin glowWhich Neutrogena product?
Neutrogena will definitely work better, I use it every single day. Try Neutrogena Oil Free cleanser, this will help prevent breakouts, keep your skin from getting too oily, and leave you with a clear complexion. I also use Neutrogena Stress Free Foam %26amp; Cleanser, it's a foam water based cleanser that helps breakouts before they start. I switch between these every other day so my face doesn't get dried out, and use to just one product. Stay away from cleansers or moisturizers that contain mineral oil, that tends to cause more breakouts and make the face more oily.
Same problem with me..
i sometimes have dry and sometimes have oily skin %26amp; i have acne on my cheekbones %26amp; forehead.
I'm using these %26amp; you can get it at walmart for cheap price :)
1st, i just wash my face with this bar soap, then clean with water.

then i just get one push from the bottle, massage it between your hands %26amp; put them on your face, then clean your face.

The neutrogena wave
does the wave work on blackheads and whiteheads? The neutrogena wave
The main purpose for the wave is to give you a nice clean healthy cleanse, and it rid of all the dirt and nasty stuff in your pores.
But on the other hand a good face cleanse helps reduce the chances of getting them.
:)The neutrogena wave
i wouldn't recomment the wave
if you're worried about blackheads and whiteheads,
i've heard that baking soda works.
and hot water on a cloth or something like if you leave it on your face.
i know it sounds kindof weird, but i heard it works:)
hope that helps.
No, it just cleans all the bacteria and makeup off your face.
It also makes your face very smooth :)
no it just cleans your face really good if u want something for blackheads try black head eraser for clan and clear try cleanandclear.com:]

Does neutrogena work ????????????????????????
i just got it and wanted to know Does neutrogena work ????????????????????????
yes i believe it does
but it all depends on your own skin
if it will work or notDoes neutrogena work ????????????????????????
depends on your skin type, if the product is strong enough, percent of sylilic(thats spelled wrong) acic or benzoyl peroxide is in the product. If you are using their acne products, it depends on the type of acne you have. Their stuff never worked for me but ive always had bad skin and some of my friends it worked for.
Your acne will get worse for three weeks, then get better
but as soon as you stop using it , it makes it worse than before , not worth it.
What i used , was proactiv refining mask , the only thing in the whole kit that worked for me .
I recommend JUST the refining mask, nothing else !
For me it did. I use the Neutrogena Wave and this one Anti-Stress Control cream. I don't remember exactly what it's called but it's a light, liquidy kind of thing. I haven't broken out in a while; the two work wonders for me. [:
are you talking about the hand cream? Yes, it works quite well, just a dab is needed, unless you have large hands, then 2 dabs should do.
it depends on your skin type
sometimes that works, and some times proactive works
depending on your skin and the severity of the acne
my bf in bio class learned that it actually makes it worse because they want you to buy the product..the more break outs the more sales i guess
yes I swear by it. I use their microdermabrasion and it works awesome.
the power cream acne wash works well for me, but it depends on the product and your skin
It depends on each person. Since you just got it, you might as well try it.
I use Neutrogena. It takes a while for it to kick in.
if its an acne cleanser...no..nothing ever works. but its worth a shot, it may work for you...not me unfortunatley
the neutrogena skin id works for me but not the stuff from the groccery store
yes, but you have to continually use it, not just once or twice.
:]
What product? I use the Neutrogena face cream with SPF 15 and I like it a lot.
nope
get differen!!!!
or pro-active but it takes longer to work than differn
Not that great; use Clearasil Ultra.
yeah if used every single day dont skip
not really for me :[ i use lime :D workss!!

Other neutrogena products?
what are other neutrogena products for spots ive got visibly clear gel it works but i want a face wash as wellOther neutrogena products?
I would suggest Neutrogena Products such as the Cleanser %26amp; Mask paired off with a facial buffer. Regular if you have normal to combination skin, or gentle if u have sensitive skin.
Also try the exfoliation product Blackhead Cleanser. Anything with the ingredient Salicylic Acid will get rid of them fast. Exfoliation is key in getting rid of and preventing acne. Keeps as fresh clean new layer of skin. Like a new canvas ready for painting.
This will also allow better makeup application %26amp; removal.
Alternate these products for AM %26amp; PM use only.
After cleansing, in between cleansing %26amp; before applying makeup, apply Benzoyl Peroxide 10%, such as the Persa-Gel from Clean %26amp; Clear collection to get rid of them in bout 3 days.
Also use the On-The-Spot Acne Treatment by Clean %26amp; Clear for acne thats about to begin. Alternate products depending on seriousness of acne.
Good Luck

Neutrogena deep clean cleanser.?
I was having a hard time deciding which cleanser is best, the nightly cleanser or the deep clean cleanser. which one works better to get rid of black heads and white heads.Neutrogena deep clean cleanser.?
They both are good...BUT, the real trick is to wash your face more often during the day and use a wash cloth when you do. Good Luck.Neutrogena deep clean cleanser.?
deep clean one works for me, day and night i use it and in about a week the pimple is gone...

Neutrogena Grapefruit Acne Wash?
If you tried it before how did it work for you?
When i first started using it my face got really dry, but its fine now. I dont have major acne...just a few pimples on my face but they dont seem to be going away...Neutrogena Grapefruit Acne Wash?
yes i've used alot of neutrogena and clean and clear acne washes (not that im a zit face because i barley have any) but sometimes if you use it too much it will dry out your skin, i have used neutrogena not the grapefruit wash yet but i have that wave thing and it works pretty good...doesn't get rid of zits but..hope it start working for you soon!Neutrogena Grapefruit Acne Wash?
Neutrogena products tend to dry out my skin and make it red and irritable. I suggest going to a dermatologist. Even if you only have light acne a dermatologist may be able to prescribe you a product such as differin. This is a topical acne treatment that greatly reduces the number of pimples that you have and the size of them. I don't have severe acne either, but I went to a dermatologist that prescribed two topical treatments for me that have greatly improved the clarity of my skin.
I received a free sample of this face wash, but I have not yet used it. I use Aveeno's Positively Radiant Facial Cleanser because it contains oats/wheat and it's great for dry skin. You can go on this website and read the reviews people have said about this product though:
http://www.walgreens.com/store/product.j鈥?/a>
I haven't been using it for that long, but so far it has been working for me. I didn't really notice any dryness from it, but I use the body wash. I don't know if that makes a difference. I absolutely love the smell of it.
i love it, i only used it once and its too expensive for me to buy again but it smelled soo good, i used astringent too to help with my acne.
i love the smell of it.
it worked for me, but not by a lot.
there wasnt anything special about it, it just cleaned my face... like any other face wash
how long have you used it for?
i use it %26amp; it works really well for me
%26amp; i use a toner and moisturizer
It seemed to dry my face as well. I have several relatives that do those home businesses and I always find the best face wash with them. Like Mary Kay, Avon or Nikken.

yes i've used alot of neutrogena and clean and clear acne washes (not that im a zit face because i barley have any) but sometimes if you use it too much it will dry out your skin, i have used neutrogena not the grapefruit wash yet but i have that wave thing and it works pretty good...doesn't get rid of zits but..hope it start working for you soon!Neutrogena Grapefruit Acne Wash?
Like Mary Kay, Avon or Nikken.
it didn't work for me either try proactivi or clean %26amp; clear!!!!!!!
Neutrogena wave cleanser?
I have had the wave for about 3 months and I have been using it off and on but I just started using it every night for the past week. School starts in about another week and I want most of my acne gone. I has gotten rid of most of it but should I use in the morning and at night. IT doesn't make my skin dry so should I use it twice a day???Neutrogena wave cleanser?
there's nothing really stopping you. like you said it doesn't make your skin dry so you can always try to see it it helps. whats important is that you make sure you always wash your face at night. also drink lots of water, this will help with your complexion (:Neutrogena wave cleanser?
I have the wave but I only use it at night before bed, and then just splash my face with cold water in the morning. Sometimes if you wash your face at night AND in the morning, especially with such a deep cleanser like the Wave, it is too hard on your skin, because you are washing an already clean face. I don't know what your skin type is, but I find that it is best for me to use it only once a day.
Well, I have the wave too and I used twice a day. I didn't really notice it clearing my skin at all. I do use the neutrogena acne cleanser package. It costs about $19 but it's toooootally worth it. My pimples started clearing by the next day. NO JOKE! It works much better than the wave and you get more uses out of the package than the wave sooo, it is less expensive in the long run.
If it works for you then YES 100% YES use it twice a day. That is what you are supposed to do anyways. In the morning when you wake up, and right before you go to bed.
Because it isn't really a powerful cleanser with a bunch of chemicals.. and it isn't an astringent, two times a day should not harm your face one bit.
Good luck and hope I helped!
i dont think it would work like the wave at all like its just an electric toothbrush and some face wash???
yeah thats fine its just like washing ur face twice a day which is what ur supose to do... evntho i wash mine more like 5
know anything about neutrogena 2 in 1 fight and fade gel??

once is fine if you use it too often than your skin might be oily.
if it makes your skin soft use it in the morning.
i dont use the neutrogena wave beacuse i read online that it could damage your eyes enouf for you to not see. or get eye cancer...
js.
i have it also i should use it more cus im having acne issues, but ya try it 2 times day why not.and if you want clear skin whatch wat u eat like chocalate or greasie foods.try not 2 eat to much of them
I use mine twice daily. It doesn't make mine dry.But then again people have different skin types.Try it twice daily and if you notice your skin getting dry go back to once daily. :]
i used it twice a day and had no problems because it's a cleanser not an astringent it shouldn't dry out your face.
It doesn't help with acne. It simply just makes your skin softer. But for most people it's money well wasted.
try acne free its cheap at most any drug store WORKD GREAT for me
i think you should try it out and see how your skin reacts to it. hope i helped =]Contagious rash

Proactiv clean and clear or neutrogena?
from your experience which COMPLETE ACNE SYSTEM do you recommend? which one works the best, and fastest? or do you reccomend something else completely???
thx.Proactiv clean and clear or neutrogena?
TRUST me i have used Clean and Clear daily pore cleanser everyday in the morning when i wake up and night before i go to sleep. My zits are almost gone and by using this u don't get any more zits. The foaming lather that it produces helps with sensitive dry skin so no irritation occurs. After that use aveeno positive radiant daily moisturizer afterwards. It evens out ur skin tone. Proactiv clean and clear or neutrogena?
It really depends on your skin type. Some people love proactiv, but for some people (like me) it didn't work at all for them. I've had problems with clean and clear making my skin breakout, so I wouldn't recommend that. But then again, other people love clean and clear. So it all just depends. You might have to experiment a little before you find something that works right for you. I would suggest trying some other things before proactiv, because it's kind of expensive. You should see if something cheaper works first!
Clearisil Ultra products seem to work well for me. :) Get the face wash and the cream and be sure to have a good moisturizer, too!
I have both proactiv... i think it works if ur on a constant role of doing the steps daily. I wash my face with clean n clear everyday to wash my make up off and it works wonders, cleans my face %26amp; takes make up off at the same time and proactiv doesnt! I would say both, depending on what u use it for.
proactiv acutally made my skin worse. i would suggest talking to your doctor, i went to my doctor and she gave me a prescription strength face wash and it is the only thing that has worked for me.
Okay what I do is use a clean and clear scrub.
And then I use the proactiv second and third step things.
It sound weird cuz I use two diff products.
But it works for my skin.
If you have a sensitive and dry skin, then proactive and clean and clear is not for you.
Neutrogena...ALWAYS!!!
proactiv .....helped me

Neutrogena For Men on Teens?
I'm getting one of the Neutrogena for Men products and wanted to know if they worked just as good on a 14 year old.Neutrogena For Men on Teens?
yes. it says ';just for men'; because guys have bigger pores and thicker skin so girls' products don't work as well.

Neutrogena wave!? does it work?
Does the neutrogena wave actually work!???Neutrogena wave!? does it work?
Yes!! I have it and love it. You'll notice softer skin after the first time you use it, it's great.
As for people complaining about tight skin, that's probably because you're not moisturizing after washing your face :)Neutrogena wave!? does it work?
Alot of neutrogena products I've tried only tighten/ pulled my skin, I stop using them. I would be glad to takes those products back.
After washing my face with nuetrogena products, I used their lotion and it went awful.
I had it and it sucked. The pads don't get nearly as foamy as you'd think. Gave it away after a week.
I have it and it does work.
well yea but it makes your skin really tight.

Neutrogena healthy skin enhancer? tinted moisurizer?
had anyone tried it? i heard it kind of dries your face out %26amp; leaves it flaky but i have very oily skin so maybe it would be better on me? anybody use anything different that they like? it has to be from a drugstoreNeutrogena healthy skin enhancer? tinted moisurizer?

I don't like any of neutrogena's makeup. True, it doesn't clog your pores but it really does look really makeup-y and flaky.
I do love and use their concealer though, if you want to try it out.
For tinted moisturizer, Laura Mercier makes the BEST and any makeup expert will agree with me on that. If you want a drugstore brand, I used Physician's Formula, they even come in organic. The organic tinted moisturizer doesn't work as well as the mineral one, but it's still organic, can't beat that.
Good luck!
i actually JUST bought ast night tinted moisterizer from Olay with a touch of foundation and it's PERFECT! http://www.olay.com/boutique/regenerist/鈥?/a>
i got it from walmart and it is great!
revlon colorstay =)
it comes in combo oily or combo dry so you can choose
I sometimes just end up beginning cheap and using tons products. Do what seems right and Im sure your instinct will be correct.

Neutrogena Wave Colors?
Just interested since I already have one (and absolutely love it, by the way), but I've only been able to find the Neutrogena Wave in hot pink when I look in stores. The commercials feature blue and green ones, does anyone know anything about this? Are certain colors only available in parts of the country or did they discontinue producing the blue and green? Thanks! =DNeutrogena Wave Colors?

I'm more of a neutrogena fan.
The only products I use from the Neutrogena line is their oil free acne wash in orange tube and a make up remover towelettes. I'm not really a fan of drug store skin care line products. I use expensive ones, but that's just me. I like spending $$$ on my skin! I think your best bet is to go to the dermatologist. They will prescribe you better creams that will heal your acne.
If you don't have a lot of money to spend on acne products you should definitely try Neutrogena, always wash your face daily and moisturize. You can also try using some of the products Neutrogena has that have scrubbing microbeads
I Use both they work rly rly well but i like clean and clear better.

STOP eating and drinking foods with refined or artificial sugars, like high fructose corn syrup, crystalline fructose or aspartame/phenylalanine. Up your vitamin C, K %26amp; A. Do some exercise like dancing or yoga. Get a little sun everyday, no more than 10 minutes if you have a light complexion. Drink more water. Try using witchazel as a toner during the day, and unfiltered apple cider vinegar at night.

A wash of milk with lime is a great treatment for blackheads. First bring a glass of milk to a gentle boil, and then add juice from half a lime. When the milk cools down it makes a great face wash. You can store it in the fridge for a couple days.
A raw potato is cheap and brilliant acne natural cure, especially for whiteheads. The vitamin C makes your skin glow, and alkaline in the potato kills the bacteria on your face. The potato also has an exfoliating effect helping you to get rid of dead skin cells. Papaya fruit produces similar effect; you should also use it raw. (Make sure the potato isn't genetically modified!)

Try these tips in dealing with the oiliness:
http://www.essortment.com/lifestyle/beau…
MOST beauty products on the market have harmful chemicals in them; do your favorite beauty products contain any of these things?:
* Mineral Oil, Paraffin %26amp; Petrolatum – Petroleum products coat the skin like plastic, clogging pores and creating a build-up of toxins, which in turn accumulate and can lead to dermatological issues, like slowing cellular development, which can cause you to show earlier signs of aging. Suspected cause of cancer %26amp; Disruptive of hormonal activity.
* PARABENS – Such as methyl- propyl- butyl- %26amp; ethyl- parabens: Widely used as preservatives in the cosmetic industry (including moisturizers). An estimated 13,200 cosmetic and skin care products contain parabens. Studies implicate their connection with cancer. They have hormone-disrupting qualities – mimicking estrogen – and interfere with the body’s endocrine system.
* Phenol carbolic acid – Found in many lotions and skin creams. Can cause circulatory collapse, paralysis, convulsions, coma and even death from respiratory failure.
* Propylene glycol – Used as a moisturizer in cosmetics and as a carrier in fragrance oils. Shown to cause dermatitis, kidney or liver abnormalities, may inhibit skin cell growth, and is a skin irritant and sensitizer.
* Acrylamide – Found in many hand and face creams. Linked to mammary tumors in lab research.
* Sodium laurel or lauryl sulfate (SLS), also known as sodium laureth sulfate (SLES) – Found in car washes, engine degreasers, garage floor cleaners… and in over 90% of personal care products! SLS breaks down the skin’s moisture barrier, easily penetrates the skin, and allows other chemicals to easily penetrate. Combined with other chemicals, SLS becomes a “nitrosamine”, a potent class of carcinogen. It can also cause hair loss. SLES is sometimes disguised with the labeling “comes from coconut” or “coconut-derived'; - and is found in many popular body washes and toothpastes!
* Toluene – Poison! Danger! Harmful or fatal if swallowed! Harmful if inhaled or absorbed through the skin. Made from petroleum or coal tar, and found in most synthetic fragrances. Chronic exposure linked to anemia, lowered blood cell count, liver or kidney damage, and may affect a developing fetus. Butylated hydroxytoluene (BHT) contains toluene. Other names may include benzoic and benzyl.
* WAXES – Such as Paraffin, Candelilla Wax, Carnuba Wax: Waxes are widely used in cleansing creams, eye creams, and moisturizers. Waxes clog pores, creating blackheads and whiteheads. They also smother the skin, which over time creates an enlarged pore problem.
* Lanolin – A yellow, semi-solid, fatty secretion from sheep’s wool is widely used in skin and beauty care products. It can cause an allergic reaction in some people, as well as enlarged pores.
* Acetone – Used in nail polish and nail polish removers, this colorless, volatile liquid is often used in astringents, fresheners, or clarifying lotions. It is extremely toxic and will dehydrate the skin, while speeding up the aging process.
* ALCOHOLS – Such as Isopropyl Alcohol, SD Alcohol 40, Ethyl Alcohol: Alcohols dissolve the body’s natural moisturizers and strip the skin of its protection, leaving it vulnerable to infection. Alcohols destroy skin’s pH balance, and since they absorb water, they speed up wrinkling.
* FD%26amp;C – When this abbreviation precedes the name of a color, it means that the FDA (Food and Drug Administration) has certified it as safe for use in drugs and cosmetics, but not food. D%26amp;C colors are usually synthetic, coal tar colors. They’re toxic and should be avoided when at all possible.
* Dioxane – Found in compounds known as PEG, Polysorbates, Laureth, ethoxylated alcohols. Common in a wide range of personal care products. The compounds are usually contaminated with high concentrations of highly volatile 1,4-dioxane, easily absorbed through the skin. Dioxane’s carcinogenicity was first reported in 1965 and later confirmed in studies including one from the National Cancer Institute in 1978. Nasal passages and liver are the most vulnerable. Dioxane is easily removed during the manufacturing process by “vacuum stripping”. Warning: It is a synthetic derivative of coconut. Watch for hidden language on labels, such as “comes from coconut”.
IF SO, you should throw them away IMMEDIATELY and Tell ALL your friends and family!!! (Extra-virgin olive and/or coconut oils are great alternative moisturizers, and they contain natural sunscreens, until you find something else without these toxins) Hope this helps!!! Good luck!!!!!

Neutrogena or Proactiv?
i have miner breakouts and i already use Proactiv. It works pretty good but is neutrogena BETTER?? Ineed to know because my prom is soon!!!Neutrogena or Proactiv?
Neither..... Both are big commercial brands that work like crap. If you don't want to buy online. You can buy it at Target or Ulta. Good luck
http://www.burtsbees.com/webapp/wcs/stor鈥?/a>Neutrogena or Proactiv?
I've heard that Proactive works slower and Neutrogena works faster but don't change products because it take up to 12 weeks to see full results. So just keep using Proactive, if you want to switch wait until after prom. Have fun at prom :)
I use neutrogena foundation and it works really well to cover up my flaws without creating any. I also use a facial cleanser from neutrogena and it helps to get rid of the oil on my t-zone. If you have very oily skin, i suggest neutrogena because it gets rid of grease and oil. But if you have normal skin, do not use it because it will make your skin completely dry and stripped of its natural oils.
keep using proactiv.. the longer u use it the better it works.
u might see a bit of a difference with neutrogena at first coz its a different product but its really just up to what your skin prefers.
maybe try one for a week and then swap with the other for a week and then see the difference?

Neutrogena Wave??? Will it work for me?
I was thinking about using the Neutrogena Wave but I have really oily skin and I'm scared that it will bring up acne. Despite the trouble I already have trying to make my acne go away, lol.
But I was just wondering if it would do that.Neutrogena Wave??? Will it work for me?
Iv just got one and i have oily skin and it takes that problem away and really drys out your skin. buts its not that bad, its working so good so far for me. just give it ago? Neutrogena Wave??? Will it work for me?
Neutrogena does help a lot. I have the one which takes care of blackheads (Sorry, don't remember the name) and its really good.Contagious rash

Neutrogena on the spot acne stickers??
I used about two years ago. They're these little white stickers that you put on your face before you go to bed and in the morning poof! Is almost gone and barely noticable. When I ran out I never saw them again! Anywhere! Like they never existed! I've tried looking on the interent but nothing. Does anyone know what I'm talking about or know where I can get them. Particulaly in the Bay Area??Neutrogena on the spot acne stickers??
I used those when I was a teen; I'm pretty sure the active ingredient in those was salisylic acid. Neutrogena makes a ';spot'; gel with salisylic acid which should work just as well - it's a thick white gel and you can put a little bit directly on the area before you go to bed. You can find it at any grocery store or drug store.Neutrogena on the spot acne stickers??
Well, i live right outside of Chicago and I saw some tan ones a couple months ago, but when i used them, they didn't work so i don't know if they are the same one's. sorry. the new one's didn't work for me.

Neutrogena is terrible!?
I've used this liquid oil-eliminating and acne preventing stuff. I spent my money on it. and it sucks! i wash my face before I put it on and follow all of the directions on the back it just adds more oil and acne to my face! has anyone else had this experience with neutrogena or is it just me that think its a horrible brand?Neutrogena is terrible!?
i've used the anti acne wash....
and it worked for me.
just that at one point it totally dried up my skin and that's why i stopped.Neutrogena is terrible!?
for me, it doesn't nessecarily work wonders for me, but it doesn't make it worse. But you see all the different answers, so it really just depends on the type of skin you have.
Neutrogena face washes break my face out REALLY bad. The main ingredient in the majority of the products (benzoyl peroxide) works horribly for my skin and makes it look worse than before using it!
i use clean%26amp;clear and that works pretty well. it might be that u r not hydrating enough on a daily basis. dehydration leads to pasty skin. i think that u should try other brands till u find one that works for u. only 1 brand works for me. it also might have to do with how u r washing ur face before using the neutrogena. make sure u use the right water temperature water. warm/hot water will cause ur pores to be open, whereas cold water makes them more closed.
horrible brand haha
neutrogena is definitly a bad product....its not too expensive but it's definitly cheaply made. I used it and I never felt like my face was clean...I felt the same way when I washed my face with regular handsoap...It dried it out in some places but I'd get huge red systic pimples on my forehead and chin....I hated it...I used it for about 2 months...
I cant advise anything to you because everyones skin reacts differently to products....just take a serious look at oyur skin and your pimples to determine where your skin is oily and where its dry, so you can use certain products that target those types of skin...I know oyu didnt ask for that, but if you cant use neutrogena you are probably looking for another brand....(usually the kind you buy at wal mart are not very effective unless you get a zit once or twice a month) goodluck!!
i luv neutrogena!! but then they came out with the biore line and i switched cuz of their self heating masks!! my cabinet is full of biore and it all helps!!!
It is pretty crrappy. last year i went through a neutrogena phase and bought a ton of it-- in retrospect none of it worked.
over the counter stuff suck try natural stores like trader joes or whole foods they should have some good stuff. cut off on the citrus foods like oranges that should help.
What else are you putting on your face?
1] what face wash are you using? Should be formulated for your skin type. Use AM and PM
2] any lotion? should be oil free, and for your skin type. Use PM
3] any sunscreen? ditto. Use AM.
4] any foundation, blush, powder, concealer? should be oil free and non comedogenic.
5] watch the diet - avoid fried, fast, and junk foods - even diet junk foods
6] drink at least 1/2 gallon of water a day
7] take good vitamins, with minerals in them!
That said, not every product works well for everyone. Try all the above for a week, and then re-assess.

Neutrogena wave, just to clean?
it seems like from the commercial, the wave doesnt really prevent/clear away those annoying once a week/month pimples.
it seems like it just clears away makeup and makes your skin tight.

Is it working for me ( neutrogena wave )?
im 14 and ive been using the wave for around a month now
i have always had pimples an deep blackheads and have never found the right answer so i tried the wave.
i haven't noticed a decrease in my pimples and black heads
iv only noticed that my face is smoother.
is the wave supposed to get rid of pimples or just smother your face??Is it working for me ( neutrogena wave )?
it isn't meant to get rid of pimples or blackheads.
it justs helps make your skin softer.
but if you use that along with an acne-fighting cleanser you may see results. Is it working for me ( neutrogena wave )?

Well i have one and it did the same thing so i tried adding more water and dabbing it a little first to make sure that the water isn't absorbing, then leaking on your face. see if that works.
its not suppose to foam, unless you go over it for like an hour, nothing is wrong with it dont worry

Neutrogena fresh foaming range (the blue bottle), a good skincare product for regular daily use???
anyone has used this product before? (the cleanser and the scrub)...if so would you say it's a good product/ would you recommend it? i'm a bit unsure about neutrogena products because i used the ones for acne, deep clean and rapid clear products and they are quite drying....
i hav normal to combination skin and i dont hav problems with acne except some blackheads around my nose...Neutrogena fresh foaming range (the blue bottle), a good skincare product for regular daily use???
I've used this line before. The Fresh Foaming Cleanser is a basic cleanser. It did sting my eyes a little bit, and it does contain fragrance, which I try to stay away from. I've never tried the scrub though. But if you can tolerate fragrance, then this is a good basic cleanser for any routine. I prefer the Dove Beauty Bar for Sensitive Skin.Neutrogena fresh foaming range (the blue bottle), a good skincare product for regular daily use???
Neutrogena products are very great. I have always used their products in the past, and they have done wonders for me. I cannot say that I've used that particular line, but go ahead and try it!

Neutrogena acne stress control?
has anyone ever had success with these products? i'm a college student so life can be a little stressful and thats definitly when i break outNeutrogena acne stress control?
To be honest I don't think that it does. I'm kinda stressed out myself so when it was time to buy some more face wash I looked at it. The only thing that was different about the 'stress control' was the bottle. Everything else was the same. Its just a gimmic I think because I didn't see anything in that bottle that reduces stress. Maybe have a cocktail to relieve some stress? Good Luck!Neutrogena acne stress control?
Yeah I tried the power foam wash and its not really drying at all but it doesnt work so well. I definitely had stress breakouts and I used this for a couple weeks and saw no improvement. Thats just me though. It may work for some people....
You should probobly use a sensitive acne wash like cetaphil. Im 17, i have oily skin, and am always breaking out until i started using cetaphil, just use it to wash your face it removes make up and it wont leave your skin dry at all.
well....i havent but i have a great remedy. witch hazel is basically a toner. it keeps your face clean. i would also wash your pillowcase every other day. it keeps your face from getting the oils rubbed back into your face that cause acne.
No, sadly, it doesn't. (or at least it didn't for me.) I've tried everything from Murad to Proactive to Clean and Clean and homemade stuff to whatever my dermatologist prescribed to me. It sucks really bad and makes you even more stressed out. I had a family reunion this past weekend and my face was badly broken out. I found this sample that I had gotten from Sephora awhile ago and thought I would try it out the night before the reunion, couldn't get any worse than it already was...
Surprisingly it worked so well. Even my mom and dad were saying things about how my face looked better. It's called MD Skincare Alpha Beta Daily Face Peel. Its a two step process but it only takes like 5 minutes. It's kind of expensive too, but hey, it worked for me! I know what its like to be in college and have life be stressful, maybe it'll work for you. Good luck either way!
It works for me.
I found a great skin care product that was developed by a plastic surgeon from Beverly Hills. He had a child with severe burns and came up with this product to help his child鈥檚 skin. It is reasonably priced and is the same quality you would get from a dermatologist, or an aestheticians office! Learn more about it here: http://TinyWebLink.com/?pid=1478690
I hope you like it as much as I do!
I dunno. Sounds cool though.

I have the wave and found the same problem you have after a few uses, after I figured out how to get it to foam and work properly I did notice results. My skin was softer and clearer, more soft and luminous though. Trying wetting the wave more and even with your hands rub it so you see bubbles and wet your face before you do it so it can really work. Hope this helps! For people who have used Neutrogena Wave!
First of all, if it is causing MORE acne, do NOT use it. It should be getting rid of acne, so I'd try Proactive or Clean N' Clear to see if that helps. (Besides, isn't constantly buying those pad thingies for it really annoying?)
Second of all, mine isn't that foamy either, but I really, really love mine. Try it with really, really hot water, but it's not supposed to be all that foamy. Seriously hope I helped!
after i used it, my skin felt much softer, and its not suppost to be 'bubbly' [even tho in the comercial it is] are you sure ur using the right side of the foaming pad? mabye use it longer, or try using it just as something to clean ur face, not nessasaraly make it prettier.
OMG that is EXACTLY whatt i was thinking!! well, i can tell it cleans, but hardly bcuz it doesnt foam like in the commercial, and i feel like im just rubbing a cotton ball covered in water acrross my face!! IF I WAS U ID GET A NEW FACEWASH
Sorry, this isn't really an answer, but I want to get it.
How much does it cost, and how long until results?
Thanks!
Also i cant seem to get it to be foamy!
please help school well be starting soon and i want to ';Arrive';

Besides the Oil Free Acne wash, anyone has any recommendation to what other Neutrogena products to use on top of just the wash; for acne problem skin?Neutrogena Oil Free Acne Wash?
For me, the Neutrogena products work very well. I've been using the Oil Free Acne was for a while and I recently started using the Blackhead Eliminating Daily scrub and my face is a hundred times better. In addition to the Daily scrub, I have been using Vaseline Intensive Care Moisture Therapy lotion. It's in the yellow bottle. If you go to the Neutrogena website, there is an assesment and it will tell you the best products for your skin.Neutrogena Oil Free Acne Wash?
neutrogena stuff sucks so dont use it, i recomend origins (although it is really expensive) it is was better then netroagana and it clears up ur pimples.
I agree, Neutrogena doesn't work. Try something else. I use Mary Kay for my oily skin and it works great.
i agree it neutrogena doesn't work. i was prescribed duac cream by my doctor it works but leaves skin dry so you need to moisturize

Neutrogena oil free acne wash?
hello, i have really bad acne and ive been using alot of medications through alot of years but it just wont go away. i have used proactive for about a month, and it didnt work and just made it worse so i stopped using it, and now im using dial soap to wash my face. Should i try buying the neutrogena oil free acne wash? does it really work? and if i buy it, i hear people saying you need to buy a cream? or toner or whatever. anyone have any good answers? (:Neutrogena oil free acne wash?
yes, i have a good answer cause i have been dealing with acne for the past few 6 years. i am a freshmen in college and i am currently using the neutrogena oil free thingy. it depends on skin types.. but mine does dry out my skin a tad bit. which is no good. but i apply some lotion and it gets better. the cream is just useless and no, you do not need to buy it. the toner itself is useful cause it does moisturize your skin. the cleanser does clear out your pores. remember, as long as you clear your pores and keep it moistureized, you ought to be fine.Neutrogena oil free acne wash?
ok well i tried neotrogina and it didnt really work that well for me so i tried a different line.. the line that i tried was OXY it works miracles for me and i think it will do the same for you.. just go to google and type in OXY and it will give you the whole line of things to usee...
im glad i could help
I have been using it for a while. It works okay. It gives your face a better look temporarily. I would recommend it as a daily wash. Although my acne is mild - moderate because I don't wash my face everyday. Try clean and clear acne spot treatment. Its helping me a little bit.
proactive will make your face worse for a while because its strong and irriates the skin a bit also bringing oils to the surface. after a while, it works miracles!
but if your over that...try st ives apricot scrub.
or yes neutrogene is good too.
RIGHT NOW IM USING ANCE FREE.THEY SAY ITS BETTER THAN PROACTIVE. I BEEN USING IT SINCE AUGUST AND I HAVE TO SEE I SEE LESS PIMPLES AND EVEN DARK MARKS GO AWAY. ILL GIVE THIS PRODUCT A GOOD RATING.IF YOU USE IT DAILY ,I EXPECT IN ABOUT A WEEK AND A HALF U SHOULD SEE RESULTS.
I use it, morning and night, or when my face feels oily. It will only help with the acne that is caused by dirt and oils. Now it won't make acne go away, but it will help for prevention
OMFG! YES! I LOVE THAT STUFF! it made almost all of my pimples go away. dont get it in your mouth though. taste is UGHHHH!! i never bought a cream/toner with it.
yeah neutrogena tends to work with most skin types but make sure to moisturize your skin as well because proactiv dramatically dries out your skin.
neutrogena didn't really work for me.
it left my skin flaky and dry.
but try clean and clear ?
i use it and its amazing.
i think you should try the neutrogena wave it works really well and there r lots of sites to get coupons for it !!!!
hope this helped!
Neutrogena makes good products. This should not be too harsh on your skin and has a nice smell.

Neutrogena or Noxzema?
I use Neutrogena bar soap to wash my face and Noxzema as a lotion to keep my face from drying out.
They both are working well to help fight pimples. I have like none now :D
BUT my blackheads are HORRIBLE.
I use st ives apricot scrub and Noxzema's Triple Clean Blackhead Fighting thing.
Is there another product(maybe by them? but other brands are okay) to use?
THE WAVE? they say it cleans deep down...would that work?Neutrogena or Noxzema?
NOXZEMA!
deffinetly.
trust me.
you can thank me later ;)Neutrogena or Noxzema?
go to a dermatologist. they will most likely do this pimple popping and black head removing procedure. it really works

Recently switched from AcneFree to Neutrogena...breaking out?
With AcneFree my face was pimple-free and super nice, but it's getting hotter where I live and it says to not go in the sun if not necessary. Even with sunscreen, I burn easily, so I recently switched to Neutrogena and my face is super dry and I'm getting horrible zits.
I don't know if I should switch back to AcneFree and never go in the sun(I burn too easy) or if I should stick with the Neutrogena(and zits!)
what do you think? thankss!Recently switched from AcneFree to Neutrogena...breaking out?
Celina and Shea seem to have the right idea. Any time you switch skincare products, you face has to ';get used'; to them. If you want to stick with Neutrogena, give it about 3-4 weeks to see results. If you're still getting breakouts, maybe switch back to AcneFree.
If you do switch back to AcneFree, Neutrogena makes an oil-free moisturizer with SPF 45. I use it in the mornings when I know I'll be outside. It's called Healthy Defense Daily Moisturizer or something along those lines, and you can find it at just about any drugstore. It comes in a light blue box.
Hope this helps!Recently switched from AcneFree to Neutrogena...breaking out?
Visit a dermatologist!!!
They would prescribe something that would solve your problems with a few tries, no more dry skin or burning.
:c
But I would switch back to AcneFree, you could damage your skin using something that makes you still break out.
If you look at the main ingredient in AcneFree there's most likely another brand that has that same ingredient that seems to work, but the overall solution may let you go out in the sun~!
As crazy as it sounds, give it about 30 days. When you go from one product to another, its common to breakout because your skin isn't used to it. It should get better day after day %26amp; after about 30 days of continuously breaking out, stop using it immediately. Other than that give it some time, TRUST ME!
Use AcneFree cleansers and get a moisturizer with SPF 15 or higher.

what u wanna do is press on the pad after u turn it on
which can help it form more soap
and thats all(:

Oh!
I have this also, and I use it just about every night.
There is actually LOADS of soap on each pad.
But to activate the suds, try running it under warm water.
I always take my thumb and rub it til I see the soap start to foam, then its just right for washing your face.
Good luck . :)
the ';cleaning pads'; that are supposed to foam right away, don't foam. i s'pose that you could put some other kind of face wash on the ';cleaning pads';. that seemed to work for me! :) it left my face soft though!
hah the same thing happened to me when i first got it.
just put on the pad, put a little water, and start rubbing it on your face. after about 1 minute, it'll start foaming.
yeah i use that to and i feel like it never foams. its so much more convinsing than it acctually is. and it barely foams!
You have to replace the pad or buy more.
your suppose to use your own soap=]

Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Face Wash?
I dont know if i should put on a moisturizer or exfoliater or whatever after putting this product on. If there is something, please tell me what you use. Also, how long does the acne face wash take to clear all of your acne and does it actually work?Thank you!Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Face Wash?
I use that exact same wash every day! =)
It works really well. I had bad acne problems around 4th-6th grade, and I started using this wash in the 6th grade. Before this, I was using a prescription gel in a yellow and white toothpaste-esque tube.
Using both together helped me a lot. I asked the pharmacist if it was okay to use both, and he said that it would be perfectly fine! So ask the pharmacist if you're not sure. There are also non-prescription acne gels and creams, so try looking for them!
If you're not using a prescription medication along with the wash, just make sure you pat your face dry really well. I'm not sure if lotion would do the trick; I think it'd only make your face more oily.
Be sure to use the Neutrogena wash twice a day consistently. It takes some patience to see results, but it worked for me.

Has anyone in the U.S. heard of this or seen it in stores? Ive searched the web and I could only find it in the U.K. Do they sell it here in the U.S.? Black head eliminating by Neutrogena? help!?
Do that stuff actually work? i have a couple of noticable blackheads on the side of my nose and its elkk ! and also alot on my freakin nose =/ ; thats what messes up my face the most and i hate it ; soo what you think? should i give it a tryBlack head eliminating by Neutrogena? help!?
Theoretically it should work. The main ingredient of the Black Head Eliminating is Salicylic acid. Salicylic acid works by removing deep seated blackheads and preventing new ones to form. However, we don't have similar skin types or even skin reactions.
What will work for the majority might not even work for you. It is all a trial and error process. Once you've found the product that works for your skin, stick to it :)

its actually black head eliminating by CLEAN%26amp;CLEAR, which is a pretty good brand. i bet it'll work. if it doesnt, buy the neutrogena wave by NEUTROGENA.

Like everything by neutrogena works pretty good for me. I have the on the spot gel or whatever. I also use this stuff called witch hazel troubled skin toner or something? I love that stuff.

Should I keep using Neutrogena?
Ever since i started using Neutrogene oil free face wash, my skin has cleared a little but has dried my skin out REALLY BAD!!! My skiin is peeling!!!! But it might not be from the face wash though......What are the best cheapest products I shoud use on my skin???Should I keep using Neutrogena?
The products you are using, are they Salsylic Acid or Benzoyl peroxide? BP can be VERY drying. I personally like SA better. Salsylic acid it really good. It is in almost all acne washes. Benzoyl Peroxide is too drying for me! Try finding a face lotion with SA in it. Clean and Clear has a good moisturizer with SA and it helps keep pimples at bay. It is only about $5 a bottle and lasts about 2 months and you can get it at your local store. I have used this in the past and it works well. Personally, I use Biore products (which you get over the counter. Their products range from $5-$10). They are harsh on pimples, but not on your face.
Personally, Proactive didn't work for me. I have been using Biore products for over a year and I hardly ever break out! Occasionally I will get one or two, but nothing bad. I use Biore Ice Cleanser for acne and Biore warming facial scrub every morning for blackheads (This stuff works. I notcied a DRASTIC diffrence in my blackeads being GONE within 2 weeks) . And then 3-4 day s a week I use Biore purging pore cream scrub. For body acne I use Neutrogena acne body wash I never break out on my body. It gets 110 in summer so sweat in inevitably, yet I never break out. Give it a try. All of it is cheap too. About $5-10 depending on what you buy! Salsylic acid it really good. It is in almost all acne washes. Benzoyl Peroxide is too drying for me! I think you will just need to experiment with products until you find what works for you. Remember, it can take 1 month for products to fully begin working! Good Luck!Should I keep using Neutrogena?
after you use neutrogena use a moisturizer such as aveeno.
aveeno works great! and it makes your skin feel so smooth.
you should go buy some and try it.

I have been using the Neutrogena cleansers for quite awhile have never had a problem like that of course everyones skin is different, it really does keep your skin blemish free, maybe you should use a moisterizer after cleansing
I just bought the Neutrogena Wave...?
I've heard it works really great for some people so I'm kinda excited to try it out tonight. I've also heard that you can reuse the pads more than once if need be. Buying a new box of replacement pads every week or two might get a little old. Has anyone else reused the pads with success and did The Wave even work for you? I just bought the Neutrogena Wave...?
The wave worked amazing for me! Within the first week my skin was almost completely clear! I wouldn't reuse the pads though because they have bacteria on them. I dropped mine though and now it doesn't work so be sure not to drop it!haha :)I just bought the Neutrogena Wave...?
Sweetie that stuff only exfoliate your dead skin-that's what luffa's do, too! I would say, save your money buy a regular face wash and a luffa and just exfoliate your skin in the shower. That's what I do!

Have you used the Neutrogena Wave? ?
i heard it works really good, but i want your opinion (if you have used it)Have you used the Neutrogena Wave? ?
It is okay. When i bought it i was expecting amazing results, but it wasn't. i was acctualy was better off not washing my face. when i started using it my dad said you better start washing ur face and i said i was. i told him it was because of the wave and he told me not to use it anymore. although i still use it occasionaly i would NEVER use it daily again. it may depend on skin types though. i have a good complexion and i don't wash my face on average. just in the shower. so it may depend on your skin.
Hope this helps!! %26lt;3Have you used the Neutrogena Wave? ?
It's good at taking makeup off. I use it once in a while because you can't reuse the pads (can't afford to buy pads every other week) so I try to use it once or twice a month as a ';deep cleaning'; method.
oh wow
what a coincedince! haha i'm wondering the same thing.
i've been reading/watching reviews for like an hour? or so.
haha and pretty much every review said it was amaazing! and some of my friends use it alsoo =]

Oil of Olay VS Neutrogena- Microdermabrasion
Which is better
for acne marks/scars?
Oil of Olay

Or
Neutrogena

Oil of Olay VS Neutrogena- Microdermabrasion
neutrogena is better, olay is too aggressive and, weird enough, it doesn't have comparable results.
if i were you, i would choose susan lucci, and if you don't have the money, go for the ponds microderma cream.
you will find my personal reviews at the link below.

Today I bought Neutrogena's ';Oil-Free Acne Wash';...?
These are what the directions say:
Cleanse twice a day.
Wet face. Apply to hands and work into a lather.
Massage face gently.
Rinse thoroughly.
How long should we massage our face.

Thanks for the help.Today I bought Neutrogena's ';Oil-Free Acne Wash';...?
my son has been using pine tar soap for a over two months now. it has really helped clear it up. he had it really bad. huge sores on his face, back and some on his arms and chest. you can get it thru your pharmacy. it costs about $4 a bar and a bar can last 3-4 wks. His skin is 100 percent clearer nowToday I bought Neutrogena's ';Oil-Free Acne Wash';...?

PIMPLES
Pimples is a unique skin disorder.Pimples are lesions that occur when the skin鈥檚 pores are obstructed or infected. They can form for a variety of reasons. However, the mechanism involved in causing some pores to collapse and block drainage of natural oils is not really understood. Pimples may also crop up for genetic reasons. It is not clear how it can be inherited from one鈥檚 parents, but studies do indicate a high occurrence of pimples in children whose parents had it,too.
The pimples associated with adolescence almost certainly occur because of hormonal changes that take place during puberty. Both males and females get an overdose of the male hormone testosterone during this period, causing excessive generation of sebaceous fluids that invariably cause pimples.
GIVEN BELOW ARE A FEW SIMPLE HOME REMEDIES TO FIGHT PIMPLES.
1.The most basic form of pimple prevention is hygiene and preventive skin care. Regular washing of the affected areas with mild soap is a must. The soap need not necessarily contain any chemicals designed to prevent pimples .However, face washing should not be overdone or the skin will become dehydrated .
2.Care should be taken on makeup, moisturizers and other skin care products. If these products are oil based,it would just make the problem worse. Use water based products instead.
3.Generally we rub, press or squeeze our pimples.Don鈥檛 when we do this,we risk spreading the bacteria to other areas.
4.Lemon juice diluted in water can be applied externally because of its antiseptic
quality.
5.Tea Tree oil can also be applied directly to infected pores.
6.Vitamin A tablets are also a natural and effective cure. Vitamin A promotes healthy skin.
7.Before bathing, apply a mixture of fresh tomato pulp, honey and rose-water to your face and keep for twenty minutes before washing off.
8.Juice of raw papaya is the best treatment for pimples.Apply fresh juice of raw papaya on pimples and get a good result.
9.Directly rub potato slices all over the face, helps to get rid of blemishes and
pimple scar.
10.Drink plenty of water and vegetable or fruit juices.
11.Use cucumber or other fruit and vegetable packs to cure pimple scars.
12.Maintain a diet that is rich in cottage cheese, salads, fresh juices, fish and
yogurt. These help to cleanse your system and ward off pimples.
13.Another overnight home remedy for pimples is to put a dab of toothpaste on it to help dry it out. Calamine lotion also will have the same drying effect.
14.Pound orange peel with water and apply to affected areas.
15.Another useful remedy for pimples is zinc. Which can be taken in a dose of 50 mg daily for a month and then reduce the dose.
16.You can clean your skin with apple cider vinegar as an overnight home pimple remedy.
17.Aspirin contains Beta hydroxy acid which is a powerful defoliant ,so you can crush 1to 2 Aspirin tablets mix with a little water and apply on pimples for 15 minutes and wash.
Finally, certain medications may temporarily alter the hormonal changes prevalent during adolescence and cause pimple outbreaks. If this is the case, a simple adjustment in medication may be all that is required.

Who uses a ';Neutrogena Wave';?
Do the soap pads irritate your face, and give you more acne than you already have??? Because that's what mine did!Who uses a ';Neutrogena Wave';?
if it irritates your skin then thats definatly not good but when you first start using a new product your acne will be worse for about 2 weeks but believe it or not thats actually a good thing
it means its working, its getting all the acne to the surface to then get rid of and entirely clean out all your pores
i know it sucks but just stick it out, it has to get a little worse before it gets better
but i might try something else if it is causing redness or burning
good luckWho uses a ';Neutrogena Wave';?
I've used it once or twice. I find what works for me is that I use it like once a week or if I put a lot of make-up on. But otherwise I just use a Neutrogena face wash everyday.
I use proactiv

Is the brand 'neutrogena' good??? i have a dry skin..anyone tried this brand??? pls help?
Neutrogena brands are often recommended by dermatologists. They have great products, especially for those with sensitive skin. For dry skin, try bathing with Aveeno oatmeal soap, or the oatmeal powder (in the bathtub).
Which one is better?? clean and clear or neutrogena??
i'm currently using clean %26amp; clear but recently i saw in tv that neutrogena was votted by the allure's megazineWhich one is better?? clean and clear or neutrogena??
I luv neutrogena!!!Which one is better?? clean and clear or neutrogena??
depends on your skin type:
normal%26gt;%26gt;neutrogena
oily%26gt;%26gt;clean%26amp;clear
I prefer Neutrogena, they have less chemicals in their ingredients and are less harsh. They are a little more expensive, but it's worth every penny to me. I've tried everything it seems. Clean and Clear's products can leave a chalky like reside on your face from alot of their soaps and stuff.. Neutrogena just leaves my face feeling clean and soft, JUST my skin, nothing else.
either one cleans your face of grime and oil, but if you are having acne problems you need to keep it clean , witch means keeping your hair makeup and hands off your face , and those face cleaners wont cure or really improve your problem, you must also use a 10% benzoyl peroxide cream to clear up your acne,, it dosn't matter what you eat or drink , its all about stress , genes , and hormones. it will pass , this is from a doctor ,
i like neutrogena better
Clean and Clear BY FAR. I have used that AND Neutrogena but Neutrogena just made me break out and have dry skin. Clean and Clear is truly the best drugstore remedy.
Neutrogena does not work well for me.....it irritates my skin. I prefer Clean and Clear.
Neutrogena! I've never had any luck with Clean and Clear and most of my friends who break out alot seem to stick with that and I tell them not to but they don't listen! Neutrogena is dermotoligist and esthician recomended, my friend just went to one and they reccomended Neutrogena. I stray from their products sometimes, but I went back to them this year and my skin has been super clear again, my boyfriend uses the regular face wash religously too and he has gorgeous skin!

Does the neutrogena wave work?
It works pretty well for me! It doesn't foam like in the commercial though! I also love their Clean Pores face mask/daily scrub. It burns like crazy ( apparently its a cooling sensation that means its cleaning) but after you wash it off it makes your skin feel amazing! I have been using it for a few days and already I notice bumps getting smaller.Does the neutrogena wave work?
For me, it totally did. i Have oily, but sensitive skin.
And, it made my skin smooth, soft , less oily and it smelled really nice and clean. i really love it. But, one time I over used it(used it like 4 times in one day=p) and it dried my skin too much. If you follow the directions., it will help.
good luck=)Does the neutrogena wave work?
Yes, it works. But not as good as they make you think when shown on tv. If you use it often though, it works really good. But if you stop using it for awhile, your breakouts may start to comeback...
it really didnt do anything for me. it dosnt foam at all like it does in the commerical... it just vibrates a little, i dont think its worth it! and it comes with little face pads with some of there blue foaming scrub stuff on it!
meh... if you already have ok skin, and just need general cleansing and want a more even look then it is what you are looking for.
Also, refills=pricey.
Yes it does. IT minimized more pores significantly and it also made my skin feel renewed. Try it :-)
it cleanses your skin and opens the pores up and gets all the dirt and oil out it really works well for me.
not really
its fun to use! but it dosnt really do anything
and it dosnt foam up like on the comercial either

either one cleans your face of grime and oil, but if you are having acne problems you need to keep it clean , witch means keeping your hair makeup and hands off your face , and those face cleaners wont cure or really improve your problem, you must also use a 10% benzoyl peroxide cream to clear up your acne,, it dosn't matter what you eat or drink , its all about stress , genes , and hormones. it will pass , this is from a doctor ,
i like neutrogena better

That shouldnt happen. I've left mine on for hours before and it did nothing.
you may
1) be allergic to it
2) overwash your face (in that case use moisturizer)
More than likely its 2.
goodluck
i use that all the time but that never happened to me! did you only use it for 5 minutes like it said and did it burn as you had it on? your skin might just be sensitiveContagious rash

The wave from neutrogena? easy 10 pts.
Does it work well? And when is the best time of day to use it?
ThanksThe wave from neutrogena? easy 10 pts.
It is amazing.
i use it when i wake up cause then i have smoooth skin for the rest of the day.
i would recommend definately getting itThe wave from neutrogena? easy 10 pts.
I guess I'm the exception in saying that the Wave didn't work for me. I honestly thought it would because I read so many reviews saying how good it worked for people. I bought it and after 3 days I had to stop using it because it didn't give me the soft skin everyone said it would, it made it extremely dry, and the scrubber was so rough (even though I scrubbed very gently) it popped my existing zits and only caused more acne to show. I wouldn't recommend it.
i use mine in the morning and evening, and i love it!
it really does make your face look and feel smoother.
i usually wash my face with normal facewash, and then go over it with the wave, because it gets so many deep spots that just washing with a washcloth or by hand misses.
it really works
i use it in the morning and before i go to bed
somethimes even in the middle of the day if i really want soft skin

Your experience with neutrogena?
hey I bought
Neutrogena Foaming Cleanser
Neutrogena alcohol free toner
Neutrogena moisture oil-free spf 15 for morning and light night cream for night
Someone told me that after using all those every day for a moth they got an amazing skin..whats your experience with neutrogena? Ive been using it for 2 days and no complaints..so far :)Your experience with neutrogena?
I buy the same things, an they work really good, been a month, i thinkYour experience with neutrogena?
I have used the moisturizer you mention (the spf 15 one), well actually still using it now and it's one of the only products which I've actually stuck with. It's nice and light, oil free, of course the spf is good but still provides enough moisture for the dry areas of my face. I've used the Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne wash with zero success. Ultimately the effects will vary from person to person so I hope that these products do work for you.
I love Neutrogena that's all I use! I think it's like the best product for acne and stuff. Like it prevents you from breaking out and stuff.
This is what I use:
Neutrogena Clear Pore Astringent(it works really good for oil and breakouts)
Neutrogena Anti-Acne Moisturizer(it gives you soft skin)
Neutrogena Acne Wash Daily Scrub
Neutrogena Body Scrub
Neutrogena Cream Cleanser
Neutrogena Acne Eliminating Spot Gel(it eliminates breakouts effectively) same with the Neutrogena On-the-Spot Acne Treatment
and to remove makeup I use Neutrogena Make up Remover cleansing towelettes
I know these are a lot of products, but I don't use them everyday.
yes i use the Foaming Cleanser and it has helped my skin sooo much. i love it
nuetrogena has been literally the only brand that has helped me. i've tried everything on the shelves, my skin is nowhere near perfect but it has cleared up a lot.

Has anyone used Neutrogena T gel shampoo?
It's for people who have really dry scalp...my sister has a serious problem, and it works great...it smells kinda like old people but at least you wont have flakes. It has done wonders for her. To cover up the smell, I guess you can buy a fragrant contioner, or cream to put on after u wash ur hair. Has anyone used Neutrogena T gel shampoo?

I use the Neutrogena Wave..?
I just bought the wave and it's an excellent product. I only have 3 pads left and the rest i threw away. Where do i get the foam pads by themselves? or do I just have to keep buying new waves? I've checked Rite Aid, Walgreens and Target and none seem to have the pad refills..Any help?
Also can you tell me if you have had any problems with the wave or any comments on it.I use the Neutrogena Wave..?
Hey, you're not alone! I just got the Wave, too! A pink one. ;) Tip of advice: do NOT press too hard when using it-I gave myself a HUGE scar on my face by doing that!! I was shocked! Anyways, I bet you can find some refills on Amazon.com, that's probably your best bet. Try Walmart, too. I just use the pads a good couple times until they just die out, because it only comes with 2 weeks worth! How stupid!
Anyways, besides the pads, I LOVE the wave! It feels REALLY good on my skin, but idk about improvements yet, considering I haven't had bad acne in a while. ;)
Hope this helps!!!! :D
-strange yet loved %26lt;3I use the Neutrogena Wave..?

Proactive or neutrogena?
which one is better proactive or neutrogena?Proactive or neutrogena?
well i have tryed both
i think neutrogena is better
because after u stop using proactive for two days
ur pimples comes back
%26amp;%26amp; neutrogena is cheaper %26amp;%26amp; they have more things to choose from
proactivr is expensiveProactive or neutrogena?
Neutrogena works best for me. But some people find Proactiv more effective. So I guess, it's all up to the sensitivity of your skin. To compare these two, you can check this out: http://vitzy.net/forum/Proactiv-vs-Neutr鈥?/a>
Proactive works just like it says it will.
You have to use it consitently or it will go back to whatever condition your skin was in before.
My experience with Neutrogena sucked.
It dried my face out and didn't help.
try neutrogena first because proactive is a tolerance-building drug so that you become dependent on the steroids in it. If you stop using it you will break out like crazy.
umm if u have really bad acne i would suggest neutrogena. Proactive is pretty good but not for acne like they say. Ur skin gets used to the product and it doesnt work on acne anymore. just try both and see wut works for you.
The combination of Tea Tree Oil soap and the Clindamycin cream is the best for Acne and pimple. These work wonders. Maybe it will work on you too.
Try searching it through Google 'shopaholic's bargains'
Neutrogena.
neutrogena.
a girl at school was using proactive and it burnt her skin (a patch under her nose/upper lip.
